REVIEW HIGHLIGHTS

My favorite of the 5 or 6 multitools I own

I have several multitools including a Surge and a Sidekick, and the Signal is my new favorite. It's the most comfortable to hold in my bigger hands, and I think it's because of the extra length with the hammer end. It's also a bit thinner overall than the Surge, which makes it more comfortable overall as well.

I absolutely recommend this for anyone with bigger hands and/or wanting a great emergency multitool.

Awesome

This is just what I needed. This is my fourth Leatherman. My first leatherman which I still have but don’t use. Because the original Leatherman the knife blade didn’t lock so it could close on you.

a bummer as it was a Christmas present from my mother-in-law. And hopefully someone found it in the Superstition Mountains.
I bought my Signal right after it came out and upgrade the sheath. I hike close to two thousand miles a year with my boy Rowdy. It is by far the best one so far. I don’t go know where without it. Read Less

Love my Leatherman Signal!

I got this recently for a two week camping trip. A must-have for tent camping (truck with me) and weight I'm not concerned with. Also great for preparedness. Quality of Leatherman is always top notch!

Q: Can you take this Signal leatherman apart to clean it? Wash it?

A: We do not recommend disassembly of any of our tools, it will void your warranty as well. If you need to thoroughly clean your tool, we do recommend a light machining oil that is thin and compressed air, it will reach all the hard-to-reach places and clean out grime and dirt.

Q: With the signal is it possible when ordering for the fire starter and whistle to come in a different color, for example the red signal with the fire starter and whistle showcased in the cobalt. All parts are the same and made by you, the only difference is color. If possible that would be amazing.

Q: Is it possible to get either Aqua or Red with silver blades & tools? I think I understand the marketing appeal of black but I am more concerned with contrast when I set the tool down in a outdoor environment....
