Supertool 300M

This is a pretty rugged tool with a great accessory in the bit extender/site tool. This is one of two choices Leatherman offers for firearms maintenance. While the tool set for the MUT seems more geared to the AF platform, the Supertool M seems more capable as a multi purpose tool. The slight changes from the base Supertool model to the M make a difference, but also allows everyday use. The extender/site tool was the reason I purchased the tool. Seemed like an all in one tool for the range. I also own a MUT and keep both in the range bag, but I also EDC the Supertool M unlike the mission centric MUT.

I TURN AROUND AND GO BACK FOR MY LEATHERMAN

Q: Is the 300M supposed to come with or have to ability to use a lanyard loop?

Q: Have a Leatherman Super Tool from US Calvary and I can't get the blades to close (knife and saw blades) to close and of course the little blades sandwiched in between. What am I doing wrong?

A: If all of the components are deployed at once, it can make folding them back in a little tricky. You will have to manually disengage the locking mechanism, by prying the component away from the locking bar inside of the handle. If you want someone to walk you though it, I would recommend giving us a call and talking to a representative.
