Replacement for Skeletool
I had a Skeletool for years. I lost it camping and needed a replacement. I always wished the pliers on the Skeletool were more robust.
The extra $60 or so is well spent, in my opinion. The tool is heavier, but is otherwise an improvement in every way. I feared the pliers would be too much after seeing it in person, but it folds into a very compact unit. Unlike the P4, it doesn’t have a bunch of extra stuff. The multi edge knife is very sharp out of the box.
One handed functionality is awesome. It’s like a butterfly knife. I sometimes do miss the “hard to open” Leatherman, but not when I’m trying to use the tool one handed!
I got mine at Ace Hardware. It’s been an EDC since.
