Another 'MacGyver' Tale
I have used my Crunch for just about every purpose it was originally designed for and then some. Recently, when the manufacturer’s cheap battery clamp on my vehicle broke, the Crunch helped me get home. I just tightened it around the old clamp and post and off I went. This was a temporary application that left my tool somewhat stained from the acid, but mechanically unaffected. Glad I had it. It would have been a bad day and a long trip home without it.
This was purchased as my first multi-tool when it was introduced. I had long needed one and knew it would be a Leatherman. I have a very strong grip and though pressed very hard this tool has never failed me. It has a place on my belt every day. It was chosen as companion to my venerable and equally useful Swiss Army Champion purchased some 30+ years ago before the MacGyver TV series. By the way, I was kind of the original MacGyver to my family.
I have purchased many Leatherman tools as gifts; all are considered by their owners as essential tools and have their own unique stories. I have seen and used many of the other multi-tools tools on the market. Yours is by far the best. I intend to continue following your tool line and purchasing these incredible tools. Thanks to Tim Leatherman and all at Leatherman Tools for all 25 years of excellent tools!
