Thanks Leatherman
I have carried a Leatherman Wave for at least 10 years. I don't think that there has been a day goes by that I haven't used it for something. Through years of use it had become loose enough that the pliers could be opened with one hand like a butterfly knife. The years of abuse had left it with numerous broken parts and general wear so I left it at my local retailer to send it for repair.
I explained that I didn't need warranty just repair. It was tagged with a note that said "no warranty" and I was told they would send it away when they had a shipment going out. In the next few weeks without my old Leatherman I felt like I was missing a hand. I could take it no longer, so I purchased a new Charge TTi.
What a fantastic tool. My wife patiently listened as I would repeatedly go through all the features of my new prize. I received a call today that my Leatherman Wave was back. It had been replaced with a new version Wave tool at no charge. What service! I know of absolutely no other company that stands behind its products like Leatherman! Thanks.
P.S. Something in me still misses that old worn out wave.

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
