Thanks Leatherman
As a mechanic I use this tool all the time repairing my vehicles. Why search for the "proper" screwdriver? My CORE has three real flathead bits on it and a real Philips head that work as good as or better than any screwdriver I've ever used. Works just great for interior work, tuning the carb, removing lights or just about anything you can think of. When I am working on any car my little buddy is right there with me, whether I'm buried in transmission fluid under the floorboards or waist deep in the hood. The pliers combined with the screwdrivers are a wonderful invention and the blades help me open up boxes or containers I need to get into for parts - no searching for that pesky box cutter.
As a commercial diver my CORE is a useful tool for Dive Helmet repair. It helps me fix things around the shop ranging from hydraulic tools to the screw head poking out just a little too far from the drywall. I use it on our trailer, on our projects and on our equipment everyday. As an active and young man often volunteered for projects I use my Leatherman exclusively. It's the tiny toolbox on my hip that feels like a 16-drawer mechanics tool box . . . absolute convenience, quality and reliability.
While I may not yet have a great story about how it saved me or someone else from a dire strait (which I'm sure I'll have and post), this tool is by far my greatest purchase, better than any other tool I own. More versatile . . . more rugged . . . more used and abused. I've owned my CORE for a year, and it still looks and feels new even though I abuse the snot out of it daily. Where I go, CORE is there, on my hip, where it has been since I bought it and where it will be until it is pried from my cold, dead fingers.
My most precious, used, and valued possession. Props to Leatherman for a wonderful product, and for having the fortitude to back up your product with accessories like bit-driver adaptors and that 25-year warranty. My Leatherman has been covered in oil, mud, salt water, and exposed to extremely hot humid environments for long periods of time. The fit and finish is second to none. I will never settle for any brand X multi tool; if it doesn't say Leatherman it isn't the real thing! Make a 1/4" drive ratchet adaptor and you'll hands down have the greatest invention known to man. Thanks a lot Leatherman!

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
