My Good Old Surge
I work as a sea farer onboard container ships. During one of my visits to a duty free shop in Israel I thought of buying a pair of shoes but instead bought my first Leatherman. At sea during my free time I love to tinker on our crew recreations malfunctioning DVD’s, etc. My crewmate jokingly said to me that my Surge was much more expensive than the DVD. I didn't bother. During my watch assignment on the bridge during one dark night, an officer asked me to find some tool and luckily I had brought my tool along with me, strapped on my belt.
During my vacation at home my wife told me that every time I do things I always use my Leatherman. She says I’m too dependent on it.
I can say that my tool is great.

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
