Leatherman to the rescue
I am presently serving as a military observer with the United Nations Mission in Ethiopia and Eritrea. I was on a long patrol on a very difficult route. My vehicle got stuck very badly in the soft, wet mud and the more I tried to recover the vehicle, the more I got stuck in it. I looked around in despair, but no one was in sight. My companion and I took a break, sipping tea from our flasks. Then suddenly I remembered my Leatherman Blast tool, we had the solution.
We cut out grass and bushes nearby (growing in abundance) and made a carpet out of it which we laid under the wheels of our vehicle. Thankfully the vehicle got traction and we were soon out of the sticky and slippery situation. Thanks to my Leatherman Tool it was just so easy to cut the bushes and grasses.

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
