Wave in the Himalayas
I’ve been a proud owner of a Leatherman for years and always carry one with me, the Wave being my favourite.
It came in handy last month when I did my 1500+mile small car run from Mumbai city to the beautiful Himalayas to Leh and around on the hired Royal Enfield motorcycle. On my way to Khardugla Pass, the highest motorable road recorded, my bike started giving me trouble. Soon I realized it was a faulty ignition cable end with spark plug which had burnt out . . . crude mechanical job . . . already at 17000 feet, I needed my bike to be in her best health possible. The Wave’s serrated blade and nose pliers was my saviour for the job. (I am a Motor Mechanic Technician myself.)
One more scenario our small car engine sump gave way when a huge stone came under it on our way to Changla Pass (17600 feet). The Wave did come in its best use to do the running repairs for the same. The amount of running repairs we did with our bike and car problem was all thanks to Wave. We did not carry much tools or any other knives. Keep up the great Job Leatherman Team.

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
