The Tale of the Tiger Muskie and my Leatherman Wave
Well, I was ice fishing in February of 2009 on a little dam called Newton Dam. It’s just a few minutes northwest of Logan, Utah. We were catching crappie that you could barely see move your pole when my friends pole started going wild! He started to reel it in and it didn't take us long to realize he had caught a 24" Tiger Muskie! As it got closer to the surface we started to wonder how we were gonna get this thing through the hole in the ice that was only about 8 inches. Because of their mean looking teeth no one wanted to stick their hand in its mouth to pull it out! I handed my Leatherman to my friend to grab the little bugger. He grabbed the fish by the mouth and started pulling it up. When it got about half way out of the water it gave a good thrash, broke the fishing line, and startled my friend Chris who proceeded to let go of my baby as well as the fish! In an instant I watched the fish and my most precious belonging disappear down the hole into the black abyss.
That was a sad day for me and my Leatherman Wave, but I went out the next day and bought another one. Here is to you my Leatherman Wave!

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
