My Old Friend
A few years ago I bought myself a Leatherman Fuse. Being a Boy Scout, I can always find a use for it. It all started when I was 4-5 years old. I would watch in amazement as my dad used his Super Tool. Though its screwdrivers, awl and wire stripper are busted, he won’t send it back because he can’t be without it. Heck, it falls open when you pull it out of the sheath. When I saved up the money, (and broke many other cheap tools), I got the Fuse. It has been on numerous backpacking, camping, and survival trips. It’s also good for setting up camp practical jokes....
I’ll never use another brand, until Leatherman goes out of business. (Which I don't see how this is possible.) I’ve never sharpened it, and always relied on it. I am currently waiting for my new Core and c33Lx to ship from Amazon, but for Leatherman quality, I can be patient. I think I’ll give my dad my old Fuse to replace his Super Tool.
I would have to rank Tim Leatherman right up with Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein in levels of genius.
Thank you, Leatherman.

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
