Wrench What?
A friend and I were heading out to our cattle lease to do some shooting. At the time I had a truck that was a little above stock. On the way out, I was playing around and the last time I "hammered it" I hit a pretty high rpm and the engine stayed there for a moment. When that happened the engine belt started to come apart, hitting the underside of the hood and shredding all over the engine compartment. It did not, however, come fully apart. Luckily, we made it to our lease and popped the hood to find half a belt left. Fortunately, I had an older spare I kept in the truck; unfortunately, I did not have any wrenches or sockets but I did, however, have my Leatherman. I was not able to use the Leatherman by itself; I had to put a rag around it to keep it from cutting into my hand. It took all I had to squeeze the Leatherman and rotate the tensioner at the same time. I got the old belt off though, and was able to put the new one on with my friends help.
I'm getting a Charge TTi soon, so hopefully I will not have to worry about it cutting into my hand. Leatherman tools are life savers.
