Power lineman
In the beginning I was a sceptic on multiuse hand tools. My first tool was a cheapo and broke when i atempted to cut a number 8 softdrawn copper, the easiest cutting wire we work with.
On a camping trip with the Boy Scout troop one of the other leaders had a Wave. I liked the fact the blades were accessible with out the need to open the toll to access them. I purchased a Wave on our trip home. The tool is handy in so many ways as I carry it at work everyday.
Countless times I loan the tool to a workmate needing a tool without a trip to the truck. In th e work environment I choose to not wear a sheathe for the knife. To my dismay after several months of riding in my pocket, my change slips through the holes in my pockets and down into my boots. I would like to see a wave with a pocket clip to hang on the insiide of my pocket and not in the bottom.
While I have found the blades very strong for skinning the insulation form conductors, one cold day stripping 750 MCM copper conductors for an installation, I snapped the blade. The warranty and repair were easy and quick. I have been carrying my wave for close to 10 years. Each day at work I will reach for its uses many times, knife pliers, screwdriver, scissors, file, and occasionally as a hammer.

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
