Leatherman Saved the Day
Dear Leatherman,
I've been the proud owner of a Leatherman since about 18 years. My first Leatherman (used) was given to me as a present by a Navy Seal, it was the original multi-tool.
I have carried it almost everyday on my side and used it for many odd jobs, always helping me out with just the right tools I needed!
After so many years of use and abuse, and lending it out (never lend it out, but even almost indestructible tools like Leatherman can get demolished!), it began to wear out, so I decided it was time for a new and better version. After some comparing on your site I chose the Leatherman Charge TTi, with additional bit set.
Working on an odd job again, trimming a hedge in the middle of nowhere, with an engine powered hedge saw, it suddenly jammed....
The blades were blocked solid and no one new what to do, so I pulled out my Leatherman and searched through my bits for a fitting hex bit, found it and opened the gearbox. With the pliers and bits I could fix the problem, and after closing the gearbox, it ran again perfectly, and we trimmed the whole hedge with no further problems.
Leatherman saved another day!
Never leaving home without my Leatherman. Keep on inventing fabulous tools.
Sincerely,
Jeroen de Klerk,
Breda, the Netherlands
OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
