Daddy to the Rescue
I love my Leatherman knives. I have a Wave and a pocket knife. I use them everyday. I always have both of them on me everyday.
My 5 year old son was riding a Case peddle tractor I received as a gift when I was 1. He loves the tractor as much as I did. One day he came running in to the house with tears running down his cheeks. I asked him what was wrong and he looked at me through wet eyes and said, "My tractor won’t go. It is broke." Well, I went to see what I could do. I found out the bolts holding the peddles on were loose allowing the chain to slip off the sprockets. Using the pliers to hold the nut, I used the screwdrivers to tighten them down. I put the chain on and told my son I was done and his tractor was fixed. He jumped right on and as he peddled away I heard him shout back, "Thank you, Daddy." That was the best compliment I have ever had when using my Leatherman to fix anything. I will never forget that day.

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
