Saved by a Wave!
Hello,
I can't say enough about my Wave multi-tool. It has come to my aid many times; nothing severe or life threatening, but a great thing to have around.
One time I was up north with a friend on a fishing trip. We were just about to launch the boat and it was pouring rain and I had asked my friend to get something out of the truck. Well, he came back to me and said, "We have a problem." I was trying to think of what could it be. He said he had locked the keys in the truck and it was still running. Well, here we are with no tools, no one around, it is in the fall season and we can't get into the truck. No, I don't have On Star! I thought for a moment, looked around and reached for my trusty Leatherman. I saw some metal caging material which is used to holds rocks together. I ended up cutting a long enough piece off to use to open the rear window of my truck.
All I can say is I was glad that I had that tool with me on that cold fall rainy day.
Thanks Leatherman, you make a great tool!

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
