Non Life-threatening
I wish I could say that my Charge TTi has saved a life, but it hasn't, yet. I own a construction company in Canada and have been in business for 10 years now. In this time I have NEVER left my house or office without my knife, cell phone, and Day-Timer.
One day I decided to treat myself with the Leatherman Charge TTi. Now I exclusively carry the Charge, cell phone, and Day-Timer. In fact I have to recommend it to all construction workers and here is why - it saves you money. I have purchased a Charge for every man on my crew. Several times a day the Charge is used for everything from cutting rope/wire, to using the screw drivers and pliers. It doesn't sound like much but, when I or my guys have to hike it out to the truck to get another tool, sometimes it takes up to 10 minutes to get to the truck and back with the right tool. Compound this by an average of 3 guys, 3 times a day, 5 times a week, and the savings add up. Not to mention keeping the frustration level down! This may seem a little anal, however it saves me about 3-4 man hours per week in labour costs. That comes out to about the cost of 1 Charge TTi in a week. These tools pay for themselves.
I am an avid knife collector and I hate to admit it, but you guys have got to carry a Charge for a week and you will notice how truly amazing it is! P.S. I was not expecting a chance to win anything by writing to you about this. I just think that when praise is due it should be mentioned, as I being a contractor love to hear when my customers are also happy too.

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
