Love Hurts (Kinda), Leatherman Just Works!

While walking the dog together with my wife the other evening, I saw the season’s last rose. I just had to pick it for her, so I climbed the two meters or so at the roadside and cut the rose with my new Wave - those wire cutters works great!

The Wave, by the way, I bought just before we left for vacation in Iceland – it’s a great tool and was used a lot. With the Wave I bent a strike plate to stop a door from rattling and waking us up, tightened wobbly chairs, trimmed my nails, did a little haircutting, let air out of the tires of my brothers Landrover (to get better grip in the terrain), and more...

Anyway, the rose. I tried to kind of run down the steep slope, but of course my feet snagged, I fell and struck the asphalt hard. Ouch! And of course the rose was ruined too! But I was lucky. On the way back from the mailbox, I saw the season’s _truly_ last rose! I climbed back up, cut the rose off with the Wave, very gently eased my way down, got my Wave back out to remove the thorns, and finally gave my wonderful wife a gift of love. Yes, my right arm still hurts, and the Wave still just works!

Tell Us Your Tale

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
