Surge of Power
I have been a loyal Leatherman owner/user since 1988 with my first PST (now in the possession of my 17 year old). I converted to the Wave in 2000. However, nothing prepared me for the sheer mass of the Surge!
I was getting ready for a golf outing, had my clubs loaded and was ready to roll. I turned the key on the F-150 and an ominous clicking noise filled the cab. Oh no! My scramble partner was depending on me to provide a variety of bad shots to help keep the pressure on him! No jumper cables! Out comes the week old Surge. I found my negative cable to be loose and well, quite honestly, extremely corroded. I pulled out the serrated blade with one-handed ease and scraped the corrosion off of the cable end and battery terminal. Then, I used the mass of the Surge to apply pressure to the cable end and help get it tight. I jumped in the F-150, turned the key and joy of joys, it started right up. I was able to make to the golf tournament in time to shank my first shot! Wish Leatherman would make a golf club!

Keyes, OK
OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
