Up a "Stream" with Only a Leatherman Tool =)
My Dad, Mom, Wife and I were going salmon Fishing on the Coquille River in Southern Oregon. We loaded all the gear into the boat and headed off for a day of fishing as part of my wife’s and my vacation from "sunny" Florida. We were having a great day hunting down the Salmon when one of our fishing lines got wrapped up in the motors propeller ... That is when we found out "all" the gear was NOT put in the boat. We had left the tool box at home in Powers, OR.....Yes, we were up the creek without a paddle. Then I remembered my custom made Leatherman tool !!!!.....SAVED..... We had a tool to get the line unwrapped from the motor's prop shaft!! We got the propeller off the prop shaft using the trusty Leatherman and got the motor back into running shape.
We went to start the motor. It was still in gear, so the start rope pulled out of the rope handle. The rope wound back into the motor and couldn't be retrieved, SOOOOO out came the Leatherman ONCE MORE... With the Leatherman as my only tool I got the rope back out of the starting pulley and back into the starting handle ...Started the motor and went back to fishing....
Like they say, a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work!!!! Thanks for a Great product folks!!!

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
