A Bikers Worst Nightmare

It was about 7:30 pm on a Monday night. My family and I were on a 20 mile bike ride and on our way back on our ten mile trip back to town I started to feel my bike pedal getting wobbly. I stopped to check it out and found that I had lost the nut which held the pedals together. So I back tracked for about a quarter mile and found the nut in the middle of the trail and had to use my Leatherman Wave Tool to tighten it a few more times periodically so that I wasn’t walking for the next 9 and a half miles back to town with my bike.

Tell Us Your Tale

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
