Always Ready For Anything
I am a Spec. 4 in the US Army currently on deployment to Afghanistan. My Father gave me his Wave when I enlisted and was sent to my first duty station in Hawaii. As a computer and communications technician I used my Wave almost daily on the job, around the car, or in the barracks. Unfortunately the tip broke on my Wave just before I was reassigned to Fort Bragg, and deployed to Afghanistan. When my father heard about this he gave me his new Wave and that is the one I am wearing and using today in Afghanistan. The Wave is with me daily on my uniform and is extremely useful in my day to day activities in the communications center where I am assigned. I know that I always have an extremely useful tool on hand when it is needed, in the office or in the field. The Wave is securely packed in my pack because regulations say I cannot carry a knife on the plane.
(ASIDE) I am Heath's father and am submitting this because he is currently out of the country. We both believe in our Waves and use them all the time.

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
